The Event Vendors Association of Ghana (EVAG) was launched successfully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at the Red Carpet Event center East Legon.
The association, EVAG, aims to promote and encourage the highest level of ethics within the events organizing and management industry while maintaining the highest standard of professional conduct among event vendors, organizers, and all individuals and entities involved in event management.
They also strive for excellence in professionalism by consistently performing acceptable or above industry standard. Whiles, they use appropriate legal and ethical methods for resolving issues, negotiations, and activities.
At the launch, executives of the association were inaugurated and outdoored. The President of the Association Mrs. Kate Hassan who is a top player in the event industry made it known at the event that the Association was open to all event vendors, suppliers who are engaged in the event management business can be full members whiles students who have just graduated from master classes or apprenticeship can join as associate members.
She added that event planners, decorators, coordinators, rental services, caterers, Bakers, MCs, Disc-Jockeys, graphics, photo and video graphics designers, makeup artists, hair stylists and the others can all join.
With over 15 years of experience, Mrs. Kate Hassan emphasized that to enhance the quality of work of their members, they will place a premium on training and mentorship.
