Zylofon Arts Fund (ZAF) has formed a system to rejuvenate the mode of distribution of movies and other creative works in the film industry.
The ZAF has therefore readied 100 sales personnel to champion the distribution course across Accra.
This move by ZAF is aimed at recouping investment in the production of movies by restructuring and improving the DVD distribution of movies.
The 100 reps shall be responsible for selling DVDs produced either by ZAF or other directors based on agreed terms with ZAF, directly to patrons on the market.
The secretariat of the Fund also made it known that, the Sales Representatives who would make the highest returns in a month would be rewarded.
The ZAF secretariat is targeting a total of 1,000 Sales Agents nationwide- 100 persons for each region.
ZAF was instituted by the Chief Executive Officer for Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, in January 2018, with an initial seed capital of $1million to support financially to persons and firms in the creative arts industry.
The fund, has so far extended monetary assistance to individuals, firms and event organizers in various regards. It has thus far produced close to 20 movies within a space 6 months in operations.
