Dancehall enthusiast, King Lagazee has hit back at reggae musician Osagyefo over his comments that the focus of Ghanaian reggae and dancehall has been redirected.
Osagyefo had earlier made complaints that, Reggae/dancehall in Ghana is suffering because front liners of the genre are reluctant to help the industry.
According to Lagazee, the likes of Osagyefo are part of the issues hindering the progress of the industry in Ghana, as he is fighting almost every movement made for the good of the genre.
He asserted that, though MUSIGA has a representative for the reggae fraternity, in the person of Mr. Wutah, Osagyefo and a group of other musicians formed another organization dubbed, GH Reggae Network, which he deemed necessary to fighting the course of the industry.
King Lagazee further called the “Every Hustler” singer a frustrated artiste, who is ignorant about the course he claims to be championing.
“Even the course you are championing you don’t know what it is about. He knows nothing about reggae yet he is always complaining”, he said.
Finally Lazagee outlined some of the reasons the genre is struggling, highlighting that, Reggae musicians, especially Osagyefo are always on edge, trying to find fault where there isn’t.
