Year Of Return Lacks Sustainable Plan –Nabil Alhassan



Renowned event afficionado, Nabil Alhassan has condemned the Year of Return initiative, saying that it lacks a sustainable plan.

According to the Event Factory CEO, there were a lot of shortfalls with the whole concept, notably the period earmarked for the commemoration.

He said that the one-year period was pretty short to fully execute and market the concept enough to attract the necessary outcomes.

Speaking to Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda on October 31, he added that even though a wide array of events were designed to mark the Year of Return, most of which have been witnessed already, the appropriate authorities could have dedicated a period of about five years instead to ensure sustainability.

He however congratulated award-winning Hiphop artiste, Sarkodie on his Year of Return ambassadorial role at the just ended Creative Industry Forum yesterday.

He also took a swipe at the organisers of the Forum for the poor set up in the auditorium and other event-related hacks.

He took to social media to vent his spleen.
