Former Ghana international Mohammed Ahmed Polo has expressed his frustration at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for not assigning him any of the national teams.
Sounding emotional, Polo in an exclusive interview with Zylofon Sports, questioned his crime against the managers of our football to warrant the sort of treatment been meted to him.
¨I know everything just that I don’t talk much. I only speak to the development of Ghana football, not a politician. Are there people that deserve better than others? So I am asking the FA what wrong I have committed to deserve this maltreatment ̈.
The ¨dribbling magician ̈ as Polo is affectionately known, further said, there is nothing new introduced by this administration as compared to the previous one.
¨I am surprised that no one called me for any national team ́s job. I thought the change will bring new and different directions, but it’s still the same old system ̈.
Polo is arguably the most technically gifted player ever to emerge from Ghana, and was part of the Ghana squad that won the 1978 Cup of nations held in Ghana.
