After news that popular Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese has abandoned his family and even refused to contribute to the burial of his mother, Ghanaians have thirsted for more “gist” on the story.
Though he has not granted any interviews to elaborate on the matter, Kwaw, in a recent tweet boycotted all claims saying, ” People fool oo lol, my mum is not dead . Ignore any stupid news going around.”
However, Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda has combed for details on the issue, on the Tuesday morning edition of the show.
Speaking to one of the ladies in the video, identified only as Obaa Tiwaa, she disclosed to Sammy Flex, host of the show that they don’t want money from the rapper, they are only asking that he comes back home.
“We don’t need his money. He should just come home so we bury our mother”, she alluded.
Tiwaa added that, it was due to rejection from Kwaw Kese that led to the passing of his mother, Antie Yaa Serwaa who could not bear the absence of her beloved son.
The family, in an earlier interview called on him to help bury the mother, Yaa Serwaa, who died at age 90.
Not only did they ask for his help because they are not financially strong to give Yaa Serwaa a befitting burial but also it was the wish of the deceased for her son to lay her to rest when she is no more.
However, Kwaw’s sister, Tiwaa says they no longer need his money as his presence alone is enough.
