Real Oviedo manager Juan Antonio Anquela has confirmed that a deal for UD Melilla midfielder Richard Boateng is under discussion.
Ghanasoccernet.com revealed earlier this week that the Asturias-based outfit are in advance talks with Ghanaian midfielder and Juan Antonio Anquela says that talks are underway.
Asked if he was confident of completing a deal for Boateng, Anquela said: “Of course, you already know everything, I’m not going to say no.”
The gaffer also revealed a phone conversation with his friend, the coach of Melilla who spoke highly of the Ghanaian.
The 25 year old managed 35 appearances for Melilla this campaign including 25 starts, scoring an impressive 14 goals in the process- one of which was voted the best of the season in Group IV of Segunda B.
