“The Church Wants Your Money, Well, Businesses Want Your Money Too – Juanita Bynum Hits Back At Critics

Recently, a conversation that has sparked up among the Christian and the secular communities is the certainty of the Christain gospel. With seculars arguing that the Christian message is nothing but a scam, a fallacy concocted by the “Whiteman” to gain access to the riches of, in particular, but not limited to, the African continent and its populace.

Dr. Juanita Bynum, an American televangelist and musician who is currently in Ghana to perform alongside Gospel Minister Ohemma Mercy at her annual worship event “Tehiliah Experience” has debunked such logic, implying that such reasoning was a marketing narrative aimed at diverting the contributions of Christians towards the vision of the kingdom of God to fuel capitalist interests.

At an emergency press conference held at the Tang Palace Hotel, yesterday August 11, ahead of today’s worship event, “Tehiliah Experience”. The “Woman of God” characterized the loyalty of Christians as “the new gold”, indicating why most commercials of today were embedded with Christian values.

“Christians are the new gold… because we are strong believers the best kind of person to go after is a person that contains the power to have a strong belief. Because if I switch your belief system then I can sell you my plan too. Nobody is coming to a christian to say that the bible is not real than a person who has another agenda to sell you. And once they detox you and deprogram you theyre going to sell you another book, theyre going to sell you another plan.”

“I think when it comes to the point of you know, Christians want your your money, the preachers want your money and the church wants your money, well I have an annoucement to make, MacDonalds wants your money, Louis Vuitton wants your money, Gucci wants your money, Burger King wants your money, every bussiness institution want the same thing, they want your money.”

Dr. Juanita Bynum further debunked public criticisms about the monetary contributions Christians make to churches, declaring that every business institution wants the same thing, therefore Christians should ignore such comments.

Dr. Juanita Bynum is the main guest minister for the fifth edition of Ohemaa Mercy’s annual worship event, “Tehiliah Experience” which is happening today August 12 at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Calvary Temple, Spintex.

This year’s event is themed “His Name Is Jesus”, with Ghanaians musicians Joe Mettle, Cwesi Oteng, Akesse Brempong, Elder Mireku, Ceccy Twum, Oware Junior, Moses OK, and others will be performing.
