Weeks ago, a statement Award winning Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy made on the 4Syte Music Video Awards stage sparked conversations on the airwaves and on social media.
Stonebwoy stated emphatically that it would take Ghana another 40 years to get a replica of artistes like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini and himself.
The statement did not go down well with most entertainment pundits, critics and fans.
However, at the just ended Ashaiman To The World (ATTW) concert last Saturday, his colleague in the game, Shatta Wale reechoed the statement that caused the stir.
The ‘Melissa’ hitmaker said: “Everybody say 40 years… Me and Stonebwoy, you see what we dey do for Ghana? Asuwer President sef no go fit do.Everybody say 40 years.”
The SM boss performed together with the ‘Shuga’ hitmaker on stage for the first time on the ATTW stage.
Other artistes who performed were Sarkodie, Quamina MP, Obrafour, King Promise, Eshun, Strongman and Larruso, among others.
ATTW concert is a show put together by the BHIM Nation President and his team every yer to bring the fans together to have fun and pay homage to his place of birth.
Running for six consecutive years, the ATTW concert is touted to be one of the biggest outdoor events in Ghana.
This year, Stonebwoy is said to have broken his own record by pulling over 100,000 patrons, who were housed at the Saka Saka park in the heart of the BHIM city.
