CEO of Black Star Entertainment, and manager of soul singer, Raquel has described dancehall mogul, Shatta Wale as a self made superstar.
Creppy, on the Monday edition of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM stated that Shatta made fame on his own, with very little or no help from external sources.
He stated that, the “Gringo” hit maker knocked the media down when they gave him no recognition.
“He wasn’t a relevant story for the media to write about. But he has flipped the script. The media sought after him for news”, he stated.
Creppy further explained that, Shatta’s strong social media presence helped him build a loyal fan base and has maintained his relevance over a long period.
“He is a self made artiste. No one made him. Even those who don’t like him respect his brand”, he alluded.
Shatta Wale is celebrated worldwide for his hit songs which include, “Dancehall King”, “Allo”, “Forgetti”, “Thunder Fire” and several others.
