Reaggae/Dancehall artiste, Emmanuel Andrew Samini, known in showbiz circles as Samini, has vowed to deal with the headmaster of Ebenezer Senior High School for denying him access to interact with students because of his dreadlocks.
According to Samini, due to the Saminifest, he has not given a thought to what to do to the headmaster since the incidence happened.
The ‘Obra’ crooner however stated his intentions of taking the headmaster on after his impending event.
I have not decided yet because of the Saminifest but I will take the Headmaster on. Ater the event, I will think of what to do, Samini told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz yesterday.
Samini spoke at length about the act of prejudice and discrimination against a section of people beacause of their looks or any other factors whatsoever.
As part of activities lined up to mark the ‘Year of Return’ edition of the annual Saminifest, the High Grade Family embarked on a school tour in Dansoman.
He stated that he visited his alma mater, Saint Margaret Mary and other schools where he had a good time.
It was when he made a stop at the Ebenezer SHS that he was denied access, albeit sending prior notice and receiving approval to visit.
In a video he posted on social media,Samini said he was prevented from speaking to students of the Ebenezer Senior High School in Accra because he was wearing dreadlocks.
“The headmaster of Ebenezer Senior High School decided that because of my dreadlocks, I was not fit to speak to the students of the school which is in Dansoman where I live, which is 5 minutes from my parents’ home,” he noted.
