Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization, Rex Omar has stated that information provided by the Qismah Ghana Music Chart, may not be factual if they [GHAMRO] do not contribute to it.
On the Monday morning´s edition of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM, host Sammy Flex, along with his panelists reviewed this week’s publication which has Kin Promise´s “CCTV”, topping the charts.
However, panel members, Appietus, Stephen Creppy and Mr. Logic had their reservations about the publication, and Rex Omar shared in their sentiments.
According to Rex, Qismah and the committee that compiled the list need to work with GHAMRO, in order to ensure that the information provided is plausible.
“GHAMRO is seeking to work with Qismah. I don’t mean to rubbish what they are doing. But, since GHAMRO is not involved yet, they should state clearly that they are an independent organization, to avoid the public’s wrath”, he stated
