The grand finale of the 2019 Miss Malaika Ghana came off on Saturday, November 2 at the National Theater with Ms Phylis Vesta Boison emerging the ultimate winner.
The 19-year-old, third-year accounting (BSc. Business Administration.) student at the University of Ghana emerged the ultimate winner after showing consistency and her worth throughout the pageant.
She took home a cash prize, a car and the coveted Miss Malaika Crown.
Ms Freda Mbord Astanga of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) and Ms Habiba Bint Abdallah of Radford University College were also adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively.
The three beauty queens were sieved out of 16 participants when the pageant begun in August. Along the line, the number was trimmed to 10 finalists and then they appeared in the final five, prior to the ultimate announcement.
