Blogger and CEO of GHKasa.com, Jibril Jagbesie has called out the organisers of Obrafour’s PaeMuKa@20 grand concert, Kri8 Concept for the unfair treatment meted out to the media prior to the event.
He indicated that a group of media persons, bloggers and content creators, of which he was part, were put together and were constantly fed with content to convey to the audience.
However, the organisers refused to respond to requests from the media personnel such as media accreditation among others.
Speaking to Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda on November 11, Jibril described actions by a section of the organisers as gross disrespect.
Even though the young blogger said he declined when he received a call earlier on the day of the grand event, he watched the event online, out of great respect for the legendary Hiplife star, Obrafour.
Another Blogger, Kobby Kyei who was also part of the media for the event, narrated his awful ordeal with the event organisers.
Unlike Jibril, the CEO of Koby Kyei News Live stated that he was deined access to the ticket he was earlier promised.
According to him, it took the intervention of Obrafour’s stylist, Bello Couture who gave him two tickets.
In response, on behalf of the Kri8 Concept team, Wei Ye Oteng apologized to the media and artistes who could not show up due to some circumstances or perform for the shortfalls in organizing and coordinating the event.
Obrafour was honoured for 20 years of the existence of his ‘Pae Mu Ka’ album last Saturday (November 9).
The night was eventfully graced with electrifying performances from Reggie Rockstone, Fiifi Selah, Samini, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Edem, Kwaw Kese, Bisa Kdei, AK Songstress, Joey B, Posta Boy among others.
Shatta Wale also attended the event to cement his name in the history books.
