Group CEO of Menzgold and Zylofon, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) has once again asserted his unwillingness to get involved in partisan politics.

Mr. Mensah in a post on Instagram, has responded to a news item from 4syte TV, suggesting that he (Mr. Mensah), will be running for Presidential Elections come 2020.

However, in a quick rebuttal, the business mogul, has labelled the information as ¨FAKE NEWS ALERT¨

¨I wish to state that the report is false and has no basis in fact¨, Mr Mensah said in his post.

He further revealed that, ¨4syte TV made no attempts to contact me before they published the news and this is completely against the ethics of good journalism¨.

¨For the umpteenth time, let me state that I am not interested in partisan politics¨, he added.

¨4syte TV made no attempt to contact me before they published the news and this is completely against the ethics of good journalism¨

¨To action my decision, I have instructed our legal team to formally write to 4SyteTv to seek a retraction and an apology¨

¨This is our last effort as all attempts we have made so far to get them to retract and apologise over the fake news has proven futile¨

¨While I support the work of the media in the country, I would also urge extreme circumspection and diligence as fake news has the tendency of giving the wrong impression.@4sytetv #fakeNews¨
