The Ghana U-23 national team, Black Meteors are set for a gruelling encounter against South Africa today.
A win for the meteors will book them a ticket to participate in the 2020 Olympic Games in far away in Tokyo, Japan.
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Coach Ibrahim Tanko said the match is not going to be an easy one.
¨It is not going to be easy as I said earlier but my team have recovered from the defeat against Ivory Coast ̈.
̈The boys are psyched up and I am sure In Shaa Allah we are going to get our ticket to the Olympics,¨ he added.
The captain of the side, Yaw Yeboah also said the team is ever ready to face South Africa.
¨We have to forget about the Ivory Coast game because we have one chance to go.
̈The team is focused and determined to win, so the team is mentally and physically ready to play and win ̈, Yaw claimed.
Africa has three automatic slots for the Olympic Games, and so far hosts Egypt, Ivory Coast are the countries who have booked their tickets for the games.
The team to place third will join the two countries who have already qualified, while the fourth place county will battle it out in a play-off with a country from the Asian region.
