Head coach of the Black Ibrahim Tanko has admitted his team’s defence was porous in their game against the Ivorians.
Meteors have conceded six goals in four matches in the ongoing U23 competition and Tanko concedes emphatically that, the defence was shambolic on the day.
”We have a problem at the defence and don’t have the quality to replace them, that is the truth, because as you know we lost a lot of players that played and qualified with the team”.
”The tendencies are always a yes or no mistake, so I think young players have to learn from this this kind of mistakes, he added.
”Meteors will be playing in a third-place match against South Africans on Saturday, and win for the latter will quality them for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
