The management of Menzgold has issued a release debunking an audio making rounds on social media, which suggests the CEO of the outfit, Nana Appiah Mensah[NAM] addressing customers on the current and future state of the company.
Menzgold stated in the release that, neither the CEO nor any member of the firm’s leadership has recorded and distributed such content or addressed any gathering, public or private on the subject matter.
“We therefore entreat the general public and most importantly our cherished customers to disregard the said audio and its content”
Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) a week ago ordered Menzgold, with immediate effect, to suspend their operations with the public.
In response, Menzgold adhered to the order by placing a temporal halt on all extra value payments and any new business related to their Gold Vault Market.
According to the earlier release, the halt was to take effect from Thursday, 13 September and was to be in place for 6 days, by which time all pending issues related to the Gold Vault Market Product would have been ironed out.
