Former Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Football Association who is now the host of Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana host, Randy Abbey has assured Kwesi Nyantakyi his day of reckoning will surely come.
The Wa All Stars CEO has made the headlines after George Afriyie was relieved off his duties as the vice president of the Ghana Football Association last week Tuesday after a meeting held by the Executive Committee.
However, the Hearts of Lions bankroller says many things have happened in the past but he is not ready to talk about them but Mr Abbey insisted the Ghana Football Association president is running a system based on cronyism and friendship to the detriment of football development.
“It is true that I have taken a back seat in football and I’m no longer in the driving seat. A lot of things have happened and I have decided not to talk about them. Because everything that has a beginning has an end and sometimes it is good to be patient,” Abbey said.
“Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Everything that has a beginning has an end so I can’t be bothered. People can do whatever they want to do but I’m not bothered. Life is a marathon, not a sprint so I’m not bothered at all. So you can take the lead today and think that you have power and authority so you can use it anyhow you want.
“You will use it for your benefit, run an unjust system, run a system based on cronyism and friendship it’s up to you but the day of reckoning will come,” he added.
