Ghanaian singer, King Promise was reported to have stormed out of the Kempiski Hotel last Saturday, during the EMY Awards, and many have connected it to the fact that he left because he lost the discovery of the year award to fellow artiste, Kuami Eugene.
However, controversial Ghanaian counselor, George Lutterodt has commented on this, revealing that, several other artistes also walked out during the scheme, and not only the “Selfish” singer.
He stated in an interview with sit-in-host Arnold Elevanyo Mensah on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda that, there were a number of other events simultaneously ongoing at the time as the EMY Awards.
“King Promise was probably going for a show or another event, so stop connecting his exit from the scheme to he losing out to Kuami Eugene, for the award”, he told Arnold.
Though he has had a promising career so far, King Promise has only one award to his credit from 4Syte at the 2016 4Syte Music Video Awards.
