King Ayisoba advises artistes to stay humble


Renowned Ghanaian traditional artiste, King Ayisoba, has advised musicians to be humble in order to be successful and gain support from the bigwigs in the music industry.
In an interview, the artiste who fuses his local language and instruments with English in producing locally brewed music, cautioned the upcoming artistes to eschew pomposity if they want to break boundaries in their music career.
He stressed on the importance for artistes to maintain a good relationship with major industry players who are capable of reviving and sustaining their career.
“Be humble so that people can help you”, he said.
Currently, King Ayisoba is promoting his Batakari Night event which is slated for February 3, 2018, at the Alliance Française- Accra.
The event is aimed at promoting the northern Ghanaian smock and would feature an exhibition and sale of ‘Batakari’ and other traditional items from northern Ghana.
Billed to perform on the night are Kwaw Kese, Ponobiom, Wiyaala, Atongo Simbad all from Ghana and some international acts.
