Harbour City Recordz signed artiste, Real MC, has put Cape Coast based artistes under scrutiny with his latest allegations.
The rapper in a Facebook post called his fellow musicians out for visiting mallams and “Juju men” for spiritual aid to better their craft.
He wrote, “most of my fellow musicians in Cape Coast will not hit because they have chosen mallams over the almighty God. Learn and write good marketable music and save your souls.”
The rapper, following this post has taken to Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda to elaborate more on this issue.
According to him, the act is a general and normal vibe ongoing amongst most artistes in the central region, specifically Cape Coast.
Though he refused to name any of his colleagues, under claims that, it is best to tackle such matters broadly, he indicated that, he has had confrontations from mates who try to lure him into the act.
“They know themselves. I am not ready to mention any names, i’d rather deal with it generally”, he stated.
Real MC giving a word of advice to his colleagues said, “mallams cannot write good songs for you. If the song is not good, patronage will definitely be low. No mallam can change that.”
He added that, he is not fazed by the fact that, some artistes will attack him following his allegations, as there is not an iota of lie in what he has said.
