I reject money from artistes who are "bossy" – Possi Gee

Music producer, and sound engineer, Awal Alhassan popularly known as Possi Gee says he rejects money from musicians who are authoritative and overbearing.
In an interview on the News Review Segment of Showbiz Agenda, on Zylofon 102.1 FM, he said some upcoming artistes who pay for his services usually try to direct him on how to go about his job, but he rejects such directives and refund monies from these artistes.
According to him, such demands from these artistes could affect his brand and that, only producers who are eager to make money and become famous, will not consider their credibility but kowtow to whatever the artiste demands of them.
“I do not sample beats of other artistes, and the fact that an artiste has paid money does not give them authority to impose directives on him”, he said.
“I reject money from artistes who come to the studio and want me to produce beats that are not up to standard, or beats that are similar to that of other artistes”, he added.
Possi Gee is the brain behind a number of hit songs including Ayoo by Shatta Wale, Fa Sor Ho and Rich Nigga Shit by Sarkodie, Stay Jay’s Kwahu as well as D Cryme’s I Swear, to mention but few.
The experienced producer advised artistes to allow them (producers) the space to give them the best during such periods as producing beats for their songs.
