Sensational Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale added his voice to the ongoing discussion within entertainment circles, pertaining to celeb trolling on social media.
The acclaimed dancehall king, in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda mentioned that, he reacts to criticism through his songs.
His comments was triggered by a revelation made by Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo in an interview with Delay over the weekend that, social media critics drove him into depression.
Shatta alluded that, the nature of the job calls for harsh comments and backlash from the public and it takes one with a tough skin to cope in the industry.
“The way our job is, if you don’t have heart, you can’t survive. That is why I react to critics in my songs”, he asserted.
The “Gringo” hit maker” mentioned that, he takes advantage of every situation, both positive and negative to gain returns.
He told Sammy Flex, “sometimes they think they are breaking me but I take advantage of such situations and make money of it.”
