Movie producer, Eddie Nartey claims most of his movies that were shot with an IPhone, is better in terms of quality than 30% of Ghanaian movies.
Eddie Nartey, who is a panel member on the Wednesday edition of Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda, argued fellow panelist, Socrate Safo’s statement that, the quality of a movie is the least important factor to consider in movie-making.
According to Eddie Nartey, this perception is killing the movie industry in the country.
He told Sammy Flex, “We don’t invest in the quality of our movie industry is low, that is why most movies I have shot with my IPhone is better.
He explained that, movie producers are quick to make money, hence they do not invest in the technical aspects of their productions, thus sound, lighting, camera, etc, hence, after a few months, their movies die out of the system.
