Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win has debunked claims that he may leave the movie scenes to pursue music full time.
The actor, who has released a number of hit songs for over a period says his passion still lies in acting.
“Ghanaians accepted me for my acting talent, acting is in my blood. I cannot divert from movies to music just because movie making has been a bit slow. “, he averred.
According to him, a musician’s relevance in the music industry only lasts for as long as he/she has hit songs whereas an actor is always appreciated even when they are no longer doing movies.
Suspicions of quitting music started when he released hit songs like “Ladder”, “Corner Corner”, ” Akyire Asem”, “Edan Nkyen Mu” but his recent performance at the recent Taabeah Salabash With Lil Win and Friends raised more questions.
The event, which was put together to culminate the Eid- ul- Fitr celebrations saw great performances from Stonebwuoy, Kwaw Kese, Keche, Kwaku Manu and a host of others.
Lil Win’s rIse to fame followed his outstanding role as DJ Lil Win in Abeyifo Teacher. He has starred in many other movies, prominent amongst them are, ”Asori Panyin”, ”Mugye Baya”, ”Archbishop Lil Win”, ”Wei Nso Ye Asem” and others.
