Exceptional female rapper, Eno Barony is the latest to claim the best rapper title.
She has asserted that, though she lost the Best Rapper of the Year Award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, she owns the title.
Eno Barony dropped a massive hip pop jam tagged “Fear No Man” off her Yaa Asantewaa album last year, which earned her a nomination in the category, however, she lost the award to King of rap, Sarkodie.
The rapper in an interview on Zylofon 102.1 FM seems to have emphasized on a line in her Fear No Man song, “The difference between me and the highest be sey I wear skirt”, referring to Sarkodie.
Nevertheless, Barony says she is not discouraged since she knows she best deserved the award.
“I did not get the award but I know I own the best writer title cos my song was the best amongst all which was nominated’, she told Sammy Flex of Showbiz Agenda.
