Budding rapper, Amerado has revealed on Radio XYZ’s entertainment show that music has always been part of his daily life.
He stated that he ditched his job as an accountant in a Kumasi-based hospital to pursue music full time.
The graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) and member of Mic Burners said: “It has always been music for me. Coming from Kumasi, a place where the indigenes are only interested in politics and sports, I faced a lot of challenges.
Friends and family did not support my decision to do music. I had to ditch my job as a hospital accountant to concentrate on music.”
Amerado, real name Derrick Kwabena Safo Kantanka, is a hard core Hiphop artiste who has great command over the Akan language with songs like “Mogya Mono”, “Numerical Definition” and “Menp3” among others.
