Award- winning film maker Kofi Asamoah has called on the government of Ghana and other stakeholders to support the film industry by working with the various recognized associations.
The CEO of KOFAS Media highlighted how stakeholders must relate with film associations:
“…..These investors, whether private, government or institutional, must be able to work with the recognized unions. That is what strengthens them otherwise they would be empty….For example, if the Zylofon Arts Fund want to send sirectors to South Africa for training, they know where to find such directors[the unions]”, he told Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda.
He concluded by saying, proper liaison between stakeholders and film associations would lessen the burden of both parties when scouting for professionals or providing assistance.
