Business manager of Northern Region based artiste, Mujahid Ahmed Bello known by his stage name, Fancy Gadam has confirmed that the latter’s concert which was put on hold, will still come off.
Fancy’s manager, Akoto Erasmus, in an interview on the Tuesday edition of Showbiz Agenda rubbished claims that the concert has been cancelled saying the team is set to discuss a new date for the event.
“The event has not been cancelled. We will soon announce a new date to hold the concert”, he stated.
The concert, which was to be held in the Northern Regional capital last Saturday, was postponed after eight people believed to be fans of Fancy Gadam died following a road crash on Friday.
Although, Musah Superior, mayor of Tamale, in an early interview disclosed a ban on all event to be held in the Tamale stadium following the misfortune, Akoto says Fancy’s team will nevertheless still hold the event.
“Everyone gets angry. Musah Superior is a leader and as a leader, he shouldn’t have spoken the way he did. He spoke out of anger. But the concert will still come off”, he said.
