Terry Amoah, popularly known as DJ Shiwaawa an associate DJ of Ruff Town Records has added his voice to brewing brouhaha of the aftermath of the Ebony Tribute Concert, revealing that he did not receive any payment for the service he rendered at the Tribute Concert, adding that Bullet claimed proceeds from the concert were to be invested in the Ebony Foundation.
In a phone call interview, DJ Shiwaawa disclosed this information to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM morning show Daybreak Hitz on August 16, 2018.
According to DJ Shiwaawa, Bullet did not give a report on the proceeds of the aforementioned event, on the premise that revenue earned would be channeled to the Ebony Foundation.
“Even with the artiste involved; Ebony, I did it because of the love I have for the girl. This whole list thing is a surprise to me. My problem with this whole thing is Epixode whom I invited to the event and his name is being mentioned as receiving 700 cedis after the show and he performed for free. They didn’t account on the event as I know, Bullet said it was for Ebony’s foundation.”
DJ Shiwaawa in his submission also confirmed that dancehall musician Epixode did not receive any payment for performing at the concert as stated in the list provided by the Nana Kwarteng; Ebony’s dad.
