Showbiz critique, Ola Michaels has called for the immediate resignation of Dr Ziblim Barri Iddi, Deputy Minister For Tourism, Arts and Culture because he is not abreast with what is embedded in the manifesto of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Ola in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1 FM’s Showbiz Agenda spoke on the ongoing brouhaha between the entertainment industry and the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture, concerning the issue of the establishment of theaters in every region of the country as promised by the NPP government .

According to Michaels, if the deputy minister has interpreted building of modern large sitting theaters as appreciation of performance in regions, then there is a cause for alarm.

“From what he said, I don’t think he has a fair idea of what is written in the manifesto”, he concluded.

He stated that, the minister is an alien in the field that he has been appointed to act, as he does not know what is going on in the industry.

However, Ola says accusing fingers should be pointed at his Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Adoo, as he has done Ghanaians a disservice by appointing an incompetent person to work in that capacity.

He further urged electorates to be watchful of who they vote for, come next elections.
