Musician, Yaw Nanna has appealed to fellow Ghananian artistes to hold shows in the prisons, to entertain the inmates.
According to him, these prisoners are some of the biggest fans of musicians.
He indicated, “These prisoners are ride or die funs of some artistes so they should visit them more and entertain them.”
Nanna, who was incarcerated 10 years ago, revealed to Sammy Flex, host of Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda that, his seven-year stay in the Nsawam prison was made easy because of Blakk Rasta’s frequent visit to the institution.
“Thanks to Blakk Rasta, I had hope that all is not over for me in prison”, he mentioned.
According to the “Mama Nancy” rapper, more artistes should emulate the likes of Blakk Rasta, Stonebwoy and others and direct some attention to their locked up funs.
Following his release, Yaw Nanna has picked up his career from where he left of, and according to him, his stay in prison is not going to hinder him from pursuing his passion.
