Anyone who pirates my music will be made to face the law – Patience Nyarko


Gospel artiste Patience Nyarko has fumed over alarming rateof piracy in Ghana.
On a phone interview with the “wafom kwan” hit maker, shetold Sammy Flex, host of
Showbiz Agenda that she has had enough of some Ghanaiansmaking money off her music
unlawfully and will take action to bringing suchpeople to justice since strict laws
have not been enacted to that effect.
She further pleaded with the government to help the musicindustry out in their
plight and their mission to fight against piracy, “weplead on the government to help
us because we are tired of having these youngmen in circle reap from our hard work;
we are really suffering”.
Patience also stated that team is working and putting inmeasures to bring all
culprits to justice.
She said this following an incidence where a young manapproached her in traffic
selling her own music to her on a discs and pendrives. She added that the incidence
made her very upset but she let the youngman go with warning.
