Pep Guardiola has ruled striker Sergio Aguero out of the Manchester derby next weekend.
The Manchester City manager previously said Aguero ‘would need a miracle’ to recover from a thigh injury on time to face United at the Etihad Stadium on 7 December.
At his press conference on Tuesday, Guardiola confirmed the Argentina forward would not make it.
“He won’t be ready for the derby,” said Guardiola. “After that we will see.”
Aguero was injured in the 2-1 win over Chelsea and the Argentine striker would be out for weeks.
