“My Performance Sells Me As An Artiste” AfrotroniX

AfrotroniX has revealed in an interview with Sammy Flex, host of ‘Showbiz Agenda’ that he makes more money in North America and his performance is what sells him as an artiste.

Expounding on the issue on Zylofon 102.1 FM, he said, “I make more money in North America with my music than i do in Chad basically from the rights and more shows. I tour a lot worldwide and that is how I make more money. I generate great revenue from my rights and my performance is what sells me the most because I project Africa with my music.”

AfrotroniX fuses electronic music with African rhythms and Tuareg blues. Live, the show of AfrotroniX evolves to the rhythm of an original creation mixing DJing, live instruments (drums: Lionel Kizaba) and choreographic performances urban afro in a futuristic visual universe.

He was nominated in 4 categories at the All African Music Awards (AFRIMA), 2018 including Best African Act In Diaspora, Best Male Central Africa, Best African Electro and Best African DJ but won Best African DJ at AFRIMA, 2018.
