According to Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, who appeared in Beasts of No Nation alongside Abraham Attah playing Strika the mute kid, Abraham Attah’s attitude towards him and the other kids who starred in the movie has changed in recent years.
“The way he behaves to me is not good…the way he talks. You talk to Abraham but the way he would reply to you is not good, he would just be shouting on you…” Strika said in our exclusive interview.
According to him, he believes it’s because Abraham has travelled outside whilst he has been left to fend for himself down here.
“I don’t know if [it’s] because he has been outside and I’ve not been there he’s trying to separate himself from us but we are all Ghanaians.” Strika said.
In contrast to Strika, Abraham Attah is currently in the U.S where he schools and furthers his career.
Whilst Attah is someone who might help Strika out of his current condition, that might not happen if what Strika told us is anything to go by.
